Robert Richard Dietz Jr., 63, entered into the church triumphant on
January 10, 2006. He was born on June 14, 1942 in Hickory, N.C. to
Anna Belle Sparks and Robert Richard Dietz Sr. He graduated from
Cradock High School and Frederick College in Portsmouth, following
time in the military, he held several positions for JC Penney
Company in Richmond. In 1980 he founded Concepts Unlimited, Inc., a
custom residential construction and expert witness firm.
Bob loved golf, woodworking and service to the community and to St.
Luke Lutheran Church. Bob is survived by his wife, Mary Ann
(Ridenour) Dietz, whom he married in 1968. He is also survived by
his two daughters, Rachael Dietz, Richelle Dietz and her husband,
A.J. Howes; his stepfather, John Alexander; his brother, Alan
Alexander; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 16 from 5 to 8:30 p.m. at
the Bliley Funeral Homes' Chippenham Chapel, 6900 Hull Street Road.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, January 17, 7:30 p.m. at
St. Luke Lutheran Church, 7757 Chippenham Pkwy., Richmond, Va.
23225. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Luke.
